Used as a guide for children to help them understand and explain their moods to adults. This was created as a part of Kids ‘R’ Central but is now considered an invaluable tool on it’s own.
I created posters for the six main themes of the Kids ‘R’ Central project. The posters are hung in child welfare organizations for children to understand the goals of the organization.
The characters and themes were also carried through to the content of the Kids ‘R’ Central providing continuity.

A selection of a large group of animations produced as an ongoing project with the Institute of Child Protection Studies.
The animations present scenarios that children and young people might face and what their reactions might be. It is designed to encourage discussion and as such was used in schools, institutions and governments.
I used a very graphic, almost abstract animation style because the topics are difficult and I didn’t want to make it too real to provoke a trauma response. Keeping the animations this way enabled the viewer to engage in the conversation without feeling threatened by the content.
